Qualifications
A. General Trade (GD) – Male and Female.

(2) Educational Qualification. Passed SSC/equivalent (Madrasa/Technical/Open) examination with minimum GPA-3.00.
B. Technical Trade (TT) – Male and Female.
(1) Age. Not less than 17 years and not more than 21 years as on 01 February 2026 (Affidavit not acceptable). Age limit is relax able by 01 year i.e. from 17 to 22 years only in case of candidates having experience in driving profession.
(2) Educational/Technical Qualifications.
A. Passed SSC Vocational with relevant technical subjects with minimum GPA-3.00.
B. Candidates who have passed SSC/equivalent (Madrasa/Technical/Open) examination with minimum GPA-3.00 and are eligible for relevant trade course of minimum 3 months duration as per Table 1 below from an institution approved by Technical Education Board. Candidates who have completed Science Department/Diploma course will be given preference.
C. Physical quality (for Male)
Height (minimum): 1.65 m (5 ft 5 in) except for various ethnic minorities and communities. 1.63 m (5 ft 4 in) for various ethnic minorities and communities.
Weight (minimum): 49.90 kg (110 lb).
Chest (minimum): normal 0.76 m (30 in), inflated 0.81 m (32 in).
The following certificates/photos/writing materials must be brought along at the time of admission
- Original certificate/marksheet of educational qualification, photocopy must be attested, but the original certificate must be presented later.
- Original certificate with permanent address and date of birth issued by the head of the concerned educational institution and SSC examination admit card.
- In case of technical trade candidates, original copy of certificate proving qualification in the relevant technical trade course (if there is a license in case of driver trade)
- Consent certificate of guardian which must be attested by the concerned chairman.
- Original copy of citizenship and character certificate by birth issued by the concerned chairman.
- Attested photocopy of own birth registration certificate and national identity card if available.
- Attested photocopy of national identity card/smart card of father and mother.
- 06 copies of recent passport size (5 cm x 4 cm) and 02 copies of stamp size (2.5 cm x 2 cm) attested photographs. The background of the photograph should be blue/sky blue, the clothes worn should be light colored.
- Necessary clothes for swimming test (on the scheduled day of swimming).
- Pen for written test, Geometry box, pencil, scale and clipboard etc.
- In case of various small ethnic groups and communities, certificate of ethnic group or community head/king/UP Chairman/City Corporation as proof.
Selection procedure
Candidates will be selected through medical examination, physical examination, written test (Bengali, English, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Intelligence) and interview. Candidates of technical trade will have to participate in practical test related to the relevant trade.
